HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Enhance Your Body’s Natural Healing Power
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a powerful, non-invasive treatment that enhances the body’s natural healing process by delivering pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. Under these controlled conditions, you breathe in oxygen at levels up to three times higher than normal.
How It Works
Think of atmospheric pressure like altitude: the higher you go, the thinner the air; the deeper you go (like diving underwater), the denser it becomes. HBOT simulates the effects of being in a high-pressure, oxygen-rich environment—allowing significantly more oxygen to dissolve into your bloodstream with each breath.
Why It Matters
Oxygen is essential for healing—and HBOT ensures more of it reaches your tissues, even areas with reduced blood flow. Research shows HBOT can:
Increase angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels)
Reduce inflammation
Enhance antioxidant defenses
Delay cellular aging and telomere shortening
Improve mitochondrial function
Stimulate stem cell activity
These benefits make HBOT a valuable therapy for a wide range of health concerns—from injury recovery and chronic inflammation to optimizing overall wellness.

What to Expect
Your session will take place in a private room. The chamber is cozy and soft; you may choose to sit in a comfortable chair or recline with pillows and blankets. When the session starts, you put on your choice of an oxygen mask or nasal cannula, and the pressure inside the chamber will slowly increase over 10 minutes. Your ears may pop while this happens. Towards the end of the session, the pressure will slowly decrease over 10 minutes. Most people feel energized after the session and report sleeping better that evening.
This is a “mild” hyperbaric oxygen chamber, with minimal risk of barotrauma or excess production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Modest modulation of oxygen levels in the body (rather than extreme) has been shown to enhance antioxidant defenses.
The chamber is large enough to accommodate 2 people and is wheelchair-accessible.
Our hyperbaric oxygen chamber delivers over 95% oxygen at 1.3 ATA.
For severe symptoms, we recommend daily 90-minute sessions 5 times a week for 2 - 3 weeks.
For less severe symptoms, we recommend 60-minute sessions 2 - 3 times a week.
